Ksenia had already had her first piano lessons by the age of four. At 6 she was admitted to the Gnessin music school in Moscow. At the Academical Music College at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, she achieved the highest distinction. Since 2011, she has been studying at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK) under Professor Pascal Devoyon and Rikako Murata, following a successful Diploma with progress towards a Masters degree.
She has taken part in numerous festivals and master-classes, working with Klaus Hellwig, Jacques Rouvier, Eldar Nebolsin, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Markus Groh, Alfredo Peri, Gilead Mishory, Elena Lapitskaya and others. As a chamber musician she works with the Artemis Quartet violinist Frau Prof. Natalia Prishepenko at the UdK and her feeling for chamber music has been enhanced by lessons with Jorg Widmann, Francois Benda, Mark Gothoni and Julie Kaufmann.
Ksenia is a laureate and participant in a number of international piano competitions and festivals including Euro Arts, Crescendo, Fête de la Musique and Horprobe von Deutschlandradio Kultur. She has also the experience of being a juror, at the German competition “Jugend Musiziert” 2013.
She gives solo recitals and chamber concerts all around Europe and Asia. In 2010 she had the honour to perform in the German Embassy in Moscow at a reception for the ex-minister of culture of the Russian Federation, Michail Schwidkoy, by the Ambassador of Germany to Russia, Ulrich Brandenburg. Since 2014 she has been in receipt of a scholarship of the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Vth Edition. In 2015 she performed at the German Bundestag’s Open Day.
